Sun Mar 29

Looks like Sat is going to be a wash-out... :( ......but Sunday is looking good :)

Lets do a route we haven't done this year..... the Kroger 50 - #2. It's a big loop of 50 mostly rolling miles up around the Cleveland area...real pretty.

We'll have one store stop at mile 34.

A couple of us will be riding some miles before and also after the main ride...email me by Sat night if you like to join us.

See you on Sunday!

Sunday Mar 22

64 degrees and sunny on Sunday....that's the forcast!
Going to do a new ride....It's listed as the Nimblewill 58 on the MapMyRide.com group if you're a member.
Planning on 2 brief stops along the way. It's a very scenic route.
Spring is here and the big rides are going to be just around the corner...time to get some longer, easy miles in the legs...come join us at 1pm.
Also remember that the rides on Saturday AM, early Sunday AM, Tuesday PM and Thursday PM are all going full swing now!

Sun, Mar 15

Sorry for my slow post this week....I've been fighting this virus stuff on-and-off all week long on top of our most stressful week of the year at work....ugh!

I've mapped a new 50miler for this week...the "Close-By Kroger 50"...it uses lots of small roads that keep us fairly nearby in the event of weather forcing us home in a hurry.
Ride will go unless it is raining heavy at 1pm.

Hope to see you there! :)

Sun. Feb. 22

We keep getting blessed w/ great weather on Sunday afternoons for this time of year...makes it easier to get out and ride, huh?
Speaking of riding, come join us this Sunday for the Copper Mines loop into Lumpkin and White counties. It is @ 53 miles of beautiful roads with plenty of ups and downs to keep it interesting :) Remember that we always regroup at the tops of climbs and at major intersections.

Suzanne will also have the B group doing a 25-30 mile option at 14-15mph.

Weather looks to be a little cooler but very sunny this weekend…let’s ride!!!

Feb 8

Put away the arm warmers and find those shorts you haven't been able to wear in 2 months...
It's gonna be 66 degrees and sunny this Sunday!

We'll be heading up towards Habersham Co., doing the Kroger 55 loop this week. Plan accordingly for water and food since the only known store stop on this beautiful loop is at mile 15. Drink plenty at the beginning and maybe bring an extra bottle.

Last week was great with almost 15 riders...great weather and fantastic company....let's do it again this week.

Lets ride up into White Co. this week....we'll be doing the Kroger #4 route, looping up to Cleveland.

Come join us...the pace hasn't been more than about 16-17mph avg. and the company has been great the last few weeks!

See you on Sunday......................

New Year

Congrats on making it thru the holidays! If you're like me, you enjoyed some good eats :)
What's your plan for this season? Now is the time to lay out your "game plan" for the season...don't wait until the last minute to decide what events are going to be important to you this year. The plan can always change a little, but you know that old saying; failing to plan is planning to fail!
Come out on Sundays and build that base mileage that's so important; nothing else can replace the hours in the saddle!
