New Year

Congrats on making it thru the holidays! If you're like me, you enjoyed some good eats :)
What's your plan for this season? Now is the time to lay out your "game plan" for the season...don't wait until the last minute to decide what events are going to be important to you this year. The plan can always change a little, but you know that old saying; failing to plan is planning to fail!
Come out on Sundays and build that base mileage that's so important; nothing else can replace the hours in the saddle!

Ride to eat!

The overcast and cool skys couldn't dampen the spirits of the 6 hardy riders who came out today.
It was a great ride w/ good company...almost 50 miles at a 16.4mph average.
Next week should be a great opportunity to bank a few negative calories before the holiday week and all the good food that it brings w/ it! Afterall, isn't that why we ride?? So we can eat what we like w/ no guilt :)
Join us next week for a gentle 40-50 mile loop...

We've been having up to 15 people showing up the last few weeks, the Gainesville Times has included our ride in an article that they published 2 weeks ago...winter riding is good!
This week we will stay close to home due to they questionable weather.
Plan is to do two loops of a 20 miler. This will keep us near the cars in the event of a real soaking. No need to go hypothermic just for a little fitness!!!!
SYOTR!

It's back...sort of...

The spambots thought the old blog was spam due to the redirecting links to the maps at the MapMyRide site.
I made multiple requests for them to bring it back up...they haven't after almost 3 weeks, so here's the new one.
